Homeopathy
Homeopathy
is a form of medicine with a long history that is accepted by some and rejected
by others as the mechanism has not yet been discovered. It is available at
NHS homeopathic hospitals, from doctor homeopaths and from private homeopaths.
Homeopathy is particularly suitable for chronic conditions which are merely
kept under control by sometimes powerful drug regimens. Homeopathy is a very
safe therapy and is indicated where drugs are more usually dangerous such
as pregnancy and in children. It is also a suitable alternative when people
are determined to reduce their use of drugs. Homeopathy is particularly
successful in chronic conditions such as eczema, astma and recurrent colds
and infections, particularly in children. It is very successful in problems
of hormonal imbalance, including PMT and the menopause. In emotional, behavioural
and stress related disorders, it has also been very successful.
