of the Elderly is the medical speciality which deals with conditions of
old age. Care of the Elderly specialists will have undertaken basic training
in general medicine and will hold either the MRCP or FRCP. They will then
have undertaken specialist training in Care of the Elderly. Some specialists
develop a particular interest such as hearet disease in the elderly.
